Dish of Good Memory
La Fornace is part of the union of restaurants of Piatto del Buon Ricordo, a voluntary association of restaurateurs bound by a common commitment to enhance the traditions of regional cuisine. The restaurants of Buon Ricordo, which are distributed throughout the territory, express a particular reference and a map of the Italian eating and drinking style that, even with the typical differences, they represent the synthesis of the concept of Italian cuisine: they represent the best expression of regional cuisine.
The plates of Piatto del Buon Ricordo are given in homage to those who taste the symbol of a local dish: they are painted by hand, one by one, by the artisans of Artistic Ceramics Solimene in Vietri sul Mare, family of potters from Amalfi Coast whose origin are lost in the mists of time. With their style and color are meant to recall the dish, symbol of each eating house, enriching the decoration with references to the restaurant, to the territory, to local ingredients.
